BATI FLIES TO GOLD

A 14.01-METER REIGN OF EXCELLENCE IN TRIPLE JUMP!
In a breathtaking display of explosive power and technical precision, Mark Oliver A. Bati owned the pit today, soaring to a staggering 14.01-meter leap to secure the Gold medal in the Secondary Boys Triple Jump.
While others saw a sandbox, Bati saw a runway to greatness. From the moment his spikes struck the track, the energy was electric. His performance was a definitive blueprint for victory—a perfect harmony of a powerful hop, a disciplined step, and a gravity-defying jump that left the field trailing in his wake.

Biñan’s Eguaras Strikes Bronze in Taekwondo

Nina Martinne G. Eguaras of Biñan City claimed the bronze medal in the Individual Standard Poomsae event for Secondary Girls Taekwondo. Cajipe Clinches Bronze with Gritty 200m IM Performance

In a display of grit and precision in the pool, Maria Alexane Cajipe powered her way to the podium, capturing the bronze medal in the Girls 10-12 200 LC Meter Individual Medley (Elementary division).
Cajipe clocked a decisive 2:57.50, holding her nerve through the four-stroke gauntlet to secure a top-three finish in one of the meet's most demanding events.

Raijel Bolaños dominated the ring to capture gold in the Secondary Boys Under-17 (52kg–54kg) boxing division, outclassing Dasmariñas’ Yhouhan Zyrus Abe in a three-round tactical battle. From the opening bell, Bolaños established superior ring generalship, neutralizing Abe’s offense with a consistent jab and high-volume combinations. The Biñan standout showed no hesitation, trading heavy leather in the pocket while maintaining a defensive discipline that kept the momentum firmly in his corner.
The fight reached its peak in the second round when Bolaños exploited a gap in Abe’s guard, landing a pinpoint power shot that sent the Dasmariñas contender to the canvas. Despite the arena’s roar following the referee's count, Bolaños stayed composed, picking his shots with surgical precision. Biñan Duo Sweeps Bacoor at Batangas State University

Biñan City’s Yuhee B. Belardo and Avril Salve F. Teope delivered a clinical 3-0 masterclass at the Batangas State University Main Campus, dismantling Bacoor City in the Secondary Girls' Table Tennis Doubles (Cluster 1, Match 2). The Biñan tandem dictated the tempo from the opening serve, utilizing seamless chemistry to neutralize their opponents.
The powerhouse pair left no room for a comeback, systematically securing the victory with decisive scores of 11-5, 11-4, and 11-3. With this dominant performance, Belardo and Teope advance through the bracket with significant momentum.

Zachary Isaac G. Amata soared to victory for the SNED delegation of Biñan City, claiming the gold medal in the SNED Youth Boys Running Long Jump at RAAM 2026. After a first attempt that ended in a foul, Amata came back strong with a second jump of 4.74 meters and topped it off with a winning 4.80-meter leap.
Amata’s remarkable performance showcased the excellence and competitive spirit of Biñan City’s SNED athletes, earning him the top medal. The Blue Knights continue to shine as their athletes deliver memorable performances across the competition.

March 7, 2026— The Biñan City Blue Knights Elementary Boys basketball team officially opened their RAAM 2026 campaign with a statement win, dispatching Calaca City, 𝟲𝟮–𝟰𝟴, in Game 1 held at the Lyceum of the Philippines University–Batangas Lima Campus.
The young ballers quickly found their rhythm early in the game, building momentum through strong defense and coordinated offense to keep Calaca at bay. With sharp execution and lockdown defense, the Blue Knights proved they are a force to be reckoned with in the tournament.
This double-digit victory puts Biñan in a prime position as they head into the next round of the group stages.

PAGKAKAISA SA CALABARZON: RAAM 2026, UMARANGKADA NA

Umarangkada ngayong Marso 6 sa Batangas City Sports Coliseum, ganap na ika-1 ng hapon, ang Regional Athletic Association Meet (RAAM) 2026 sa pamamagitan ng isang masiglang Solidarity Meeting. Nilahukan ng mga atleta at coach mula sa iba’t ibang dibisyon ng Region IV-A CALABARZON, ang pagtitipon ay naglayong pagtibayin ang pagkakaisa, respeto, at tunay na sportsmanship bago ang pormal na pagsisimula ng mga paligsahan.
Nagbahagi ng kani-kanilang mahahalagang mensahe ang mga haligi ng edukasyon sa rehiyon sa pangunguna nina Hermogenes M. Panganiban, CESO V, Schools Division Superintendent ng SDO Batangas City; Atty. Alberto T. Escobarte, CESO II, Regional Director; at Atty. Kelvin P. Matib, Supervising Administrative Officer/OIC-Legal. Binigyang-diin ng mga opisyal ang kahalagahan ng disiplina at integridad na dapat ipamalas ng bawat kalahok sa loob at labas ng palaruan.
Dahil sa ipinakitang kahandaan at dedikasyon ng mga kabataang atleta, inaasahang magsisilbing inspirasyon ang pagkakaisang ito tungo sa isang matagumpay at makabuluhang RAAM 2026.

Ahead of the official opening of the Regional Athletic Association Meet (RAAM) 2026 on Sunday, delegates gathered at Malitam Elementary School for Learners’ Rights Activities promoting creativity, expression, and well-being.
Participants visited the Learners’ Rights and Protection Committee booth, where they enjoyed reading books, playing board games, coloring activities, and writing messages on the Freedom Wall.
Free bread, sweet treats, candies, ballpens, notepads, OFF lotion, Rexona, and other goodies were also distributed.
“Masaya po kasi nakakapag-relax kami habang hinihintay ang start ng RAAM,” shared one student-athlete.
“May pa-freebies din po tulad ng libreng off-lotion, candies, ballpen, notepads at Gardenia breads,” another athlete said.
The activity was made possible through the LRP Committee led by Atty. Gertrude Anunciacion, EPS -SGOD with the steadfast support of the Schools Division Office of Biñan City, led by SDS Dr. Arlene S. Ricasata, CESO VI, with partners SMS Philippines Healthcare Solutions, Inc., Gardenia Bakeries Philippines, M & C Tour Services, and Mr. Roscain, and the continued support of LGU Biñan City, YASDO, and the City Education Office.
The initiative highlights that RAAM is not only about competition, but also about promoting learners’ rights and well-being.

A total of 745 athletes, coaches, assistant coaches, chaperones, and trainers representing Biñan City received their allowances today during a distribution activity at Malitam Elementary School, led by the City Treasury Office of Biñan.
The distribution ensured that delegates received financial support as they prepared for the Regional Athletic Association Meet (RAAM) 2026, which officially opened on Sunday.
One of the Athletes expressed appreciation for the city’s support.
“Maaga po naming natanggap ang allowance mula sa Biñan, kaya malaking tulong ito sa aming paghahanda para sa RAAM,” the athlete said.
The initiative reflects the local government’s continued commitment to supporting sports development and empowering young athletes representing Biñan City in the regional meet.

Kasalukuyang isinasagawa ang 2026 Division Festival of Talents – Mathematics Quiz Bee ngayong Marso 6, 2026 sa Biñan City Science and Technology High School na nilalahukan ng labing-isang (11) paaralan sa antas ng Junior High School mula sa iba’t ibang pampublikong paaralan sa Dibisyon ng Biñan.
Layunin ng patimpalak na ito na itaguyod ang kahusayan sa larangan ng Matematika, palalimin ang konseptuwal na pag-unawa ng mga mag-aaral, at mahikayat ang malusog na kompetisyon sa hanay ng mga kalahok.
Sa pamamagitan ng gawaing ito, nabibigyan ng pagkakataon ang mga mag-aaral na maipamalas ang kanilang kakayahan sa lohikal na pag-iisip, pagsusuri ng mga problemang matematikal, at mabilis na paglutas ng mga tanong.
Ang mga kalahok mula sa iba’t ibang paaralan ay nagpapakita ng kanilang kahusayan at kahandaan sa bawat round ng kompetisyon. Ang magtatamo ng Unang Gantimpala sa patimpalak na ito ang siyang magiging kinatawan ng Dibisyon ng Biñan sa Regional Festival of Talents.
Pinangungunahan ang pagsasagawa ng gawaing ito ng Curriculum Implementation Division sa pamamagitan ni Dr. Violeta M. Umel, Division Education Program Supervisor sa Matematika.

Training continues at the billeting venue in Malitam Elementary School as SDO Biñan City student-athletes refine their skills and strengthen team coordination.

SDO Biñan, Pinatatag and Learning Recovery; Kindergarten Teachers, sinasanay sa play-based Learning.

Sa gitna ng pagsisikap na itaas ang kalidad ng pundasyon ng edukasyon, isinasagawa ng Schools Division Office (SDO) ng Lungsod ng Biñan ang isang masinsinang tatlong-araw na pagsasanay para sa mga guro ng Kindergarten simula ngayong Marso 4 hanggang 6, 2026, sa Via Appia Tagaytay.

Ang programa, na may temang “Upskilling of Kindergarten Teachers on Building Literacy, Numeracy, and Play-based Approach,” ay bahagi ng malawakang estratehiya ng dibisyon para sa learning recovery na may layuning punan ang mga puwang sa pagkatuto na iniwan ng mga nakaraang hamon sa sektor ng edukasyon.

Tampok ngayong unang araw sa nasabing workshop ang presensya ni Shirley T. Equipado, isang kilalang Early Childhood Specialist, Literacy Consultant, at published author. Bilang main resource speaker, ibinahagi ni Equipado ang kanyang malawak na kaalaman sa sining ng pagtuturo sa mga bata, partikular na sa pagbuo ng epektibong kasanayan sa pagbasa at pagbibilang.
